I am a qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor working with both current life problems as well as longer-term issues. Based in North London N19 I work with clients from diverse and international backgrounds and have particular experience working with mood, anxiety as well as identity and family related issues.
Passionate about mental health and personal growth, I offer a warm and non-judgmental space to explore and process your concerns. Whilst there is no one size fits all approach to psychotherapy, I believe that feeling seen, heard and valued are at the core of the therapeutic process, and I aim to adapt to your needs.
Alongside my private practice, I have worked as a placement counsellor with the NHS (IAPT), ward volunteer at the Highgate Mental Health Centre and bereavement counsellor with Caris Islington. Through these roles I have been able to work with a wide range of concerns such as depression, anxiety, bereavement, physical/mental health, stress, self-harm, work related issues, as well as chronic mental health conditions, autism and learning difficulties in my role as a support worker.
My approach is integrative, combining person-centred and psychodynamic models, exploring and integrating how we have been shaped by past and present experiences and relationships. Believing in our innate potential for growth and change, I have a calm and compassionate style, working collaboratively to your pace and goals. A registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I am guided by an ethical framework that puts you and your wellbeing at the heart of our work.
